Going ok so far... doing my stuff and Charlie's being as that he's at the Birds...

Butter informed me that my thread is over 100,000 views strong!

I should put that on a sign somewhere like mcdonalds... "over 1 billion served" or something

When can we expect the new GTB's 4 cell/DSM to become available?

Tony,

I think the "standard" GTB 4 cell's should start shipping out of here relatively soon.. if not already!

I'm not sure on the "DSM Only" stuff though.

Steve - Is the footprint of the 4-cell GTB really smaller than the regular GTB as advertised on Speedtech? Or was that a mis-print on Steve W's part? My understanding was that it was simply the same speedo minus the heatsink and with different wires. Also, does it come with the Trans-Cap? I am seeing people yank the trans-cap in favor of something smaller and flatter. Is this a Novak peice? Care to elaborate?

Tony,

The footprint of both ESCs should be identical.

The 4 cell is *basically* the same ESC with:

-The heat sink plate instead of the large finned heatsink/fan assembly.

-16 AWG wire instead of 14 AWG.

-Input and Switch harness wires are directly soldered in...

-And upgraded software which includes different drag brake and minimum drive values

Hope this helps clear up any confusion!!
