Aaron,
I've noticed that on both my truck and buggy that the universals stick out a little ways from the nut. There's a little less than a quarter of an inch hanging out after the nut has been screwed on all the way. Do you or would you recomend dremmeling off the excess?
Thanks!

NVisible - The problem will get bigger as the wheels spin faster. You can pick up a cheap airplane prop balancer at a your LHS, and some poster putty, and use that to balance your tires. I would recommend doing the rears as well.
kvrc - At all tracks we use a body reamer to make the existing holes about 1/4 inch in diameter.
Mafia - I've never seen anyone remove it..it's ok to leave it there.
Troy - First time I beat you in TC..you gotta give up on-road for life. Deal?

I used to race TC all the time! Never on carpet though.
I would need a TC to be able to run it . I really don't know if I'll be making an entrance into the on-road world for a while, I might have a deal lined up to race 1/8th scale buggies next year.

Josh - I'm not too sure if I should be saying that as of yet..the deal is nowhere near set in stone.
I will say this much..they don't make a gas truck.

Great thread! I haven't run electric truck for about 10 years. However, Jimmy B will be having an "over 40" stock truck class at the HRH Shootout this year. I am purchasing a MF xxxt (not MF2) just to run it and was hoping I could get your stock setup from last year emailed to me. Motor setup and gearing would be great if you can let those secrets out!

Thanks buddy!
