Mine arrived with 44 on the can. I didn't touch timing, but kept adding pinion through the night. I started with a 38, dropped to the 35 and then gradually went back up. At a 39 tooth the motor was coming off at the same temp as @ 35 and no fade. I didn't change it for the main, but it didn't get any hotter. I might still have more gearing to add. One other racer was running the same motor and was up to a 41 tooth pinion. I still need to work on my driving and find another tenth or two, but the motor held up its end of the deal.It is a short stack, with the S High Rotor.

New IR limits set by Roar.
How do the Mc2 fall in place are they legal still?

Roar's new rules takes into account the lowest IR for each wind. That's why it says the minimum could change before the rules go into effect. No motors that are currently legal will be impacted by the rules. If a manufacturer comes out with an even lower minimum resistance before Sept 1st, that will be the new minimum. The current minimum for 17.5 is set from the new Trinity motor (which is 17.8 per pole)

That power cap looks amazing. #drool lol

Used the speedo 2 weeks, once for mod tc and once for stock tc. Very easily adjustable, responds very well to changes for throttle and brake settings. The power cap is slick. You won't be disappointed!!!

Not that I'm aware of & I've been testing this in stock TC for a month.
same price as its competitors, so I guess all of them should?
Not a HobbyWing at all. It has more similarities to the Team Powers speed control.
