Pink are thicker wire and more coils of course they will compress first. Hand feel can be misleading.
Several ppl have tested yok springs independently and blue are softer.
Good source for spring rates can be found on petit rc and reflexracing website.

As per other posts pink are stiffer than blue, but perhaps your springs were labeled incorrectly.

i have a question.which car is better 2013,2014,or 2015?i'm looking to get my first one and trying to figure out which one has the best features.i will run on carpet mostly and i notice that alot of guys at the track has been running them but when you ask them they say mostly that 13 is better then the 14 but its a toss up between the 13 or 15. so which should be first?

Sounds like a fun project! Build one, Korey! I used to have a spring rate tester for 1:1 race car springs. A tiny version would be neat.

A good friend of mine put some effort into his test rig
I'll let him weigh in on that setup, and other spring rates he has tested
Maybe we can form an Excel Ss on them all

Of note, and fairly un-scientific
With my current setup Purple Fr, Blue Rr
There is about 3mm of spring compression from static height to chassis touching, and about 1mm of pre-load for ride height

So those first 4-5 increments seem to be the most important to think about

That looks good. It would have been perfect if the middle knob would have an indicator to see how far down you are compressing.
