TRUE!!! the Black Eagle flies, is a great engine and VERY fast, JP makes his engine VERY good and knows what he is doing.
I have been racing with JP from 2008 and NO complains at all, great power and very reliable. I have JP 1/8 buggy engines and 1/10 200mm and they can hold and even be faster that any engine out there.

as said by JP "increase your pleasure with JP Products"

Have fun and hi to my friends from Kamikaze

yes MHarrison...this engine really works on MAXpower pipe..actually i have one...but the one without efra homologation and it is the illegal...i use it during practice and it performs almost perfect...but then to enter a national race i hv no choice but to use the nova 3501 pipe...

one more thing, is it JP2620 same with nova2630?...do u think it will works?

No the 2620 isn't the same as the 2630. I would pick the 2620 over the 2630.
Never liked the performance of the 2630 on the short stroke motors. the best performance from my p-3l i get with the RB 2604 or the max 2602, followed by the 2620 and 2601. And always using the short conical header.

The p3l belonges to the 'older type' of engines, the plus series, like the eagle are the new series which have a longer stroke.
As you can see below.

Technical Data JP 12 P-3L C.
Capacity 2,09 cc
Bore : 13,80 mm
Stroke : 14,04 mm
Ports : 3
Crankshaft : ø 11,5 mm

Technical Data Eagle 12 TL-3T
C. Capacity : 2,09 cc
Bore : 13,70 mm
Stroke : 14,25 mm
Ports : 3
Crankshaft : ø 11,5 mm
Carburetor : ø 5,4 mm + reducer
Glow Plugs : Turbo
Weight : 223 gr

The 2630 was introduced together with the longstroke engines to match them.

It's based on the JP fx12, which is a nova engine but made by the specs from JP racing, it's not based from a nova engine. But you could fit nova NS3 parts in it.

Thanks alot for that info. Now in your personal opinion can this engine compete with a 12 plus sct or 353?

You will be surprised how well this engine runs and will definitely hang with the engines you mentioned.
