Hey

Does anyone knows the difference between the chassis of 8ight RTR and 8ight Pro Kit? If I want to upgrade the engine to a OS, will the RTR chassis work?

if you wanna use a starter box with that OS all you have to do is change the motor mounts to either the kit version ones or the king headz ones and the RTR chassis will work

ok i know some of you 8ight users are using digital servos so who's using AA reciever packs and in what configuration?

Who's using the TKO ceramic bearings and is there any special maintainance needed? Believe it or not, I take off my motor, tires and radio tray before throwing my buggy in the dishwasher to clean it. No problems so far. I do re-oil the bearings periodically of course.

WOW! That sounds crazy to me but if it's working for you.. Actually, the bearings are really the only thing I can think of that would get damaged from that (maybe a little rust in the CVD joints), it shouldn't hurt the plastic a bit. Creamics should be better as they are more rust/corrosion resistant than conventional bearings.

aluminum rear bearing inserts are in stock at amain and should be in stock everywhere in about a week or so

You're absolutely right, I sometimes get a little rust on the CVDs but interestingly enough the dishwasher doesn't have enough power to get water into the bearings.

ya so my worn clutch shoes lead to other problems. what are people running for a flywheel, shoes, clutch nut, etc. the whole works. mine is toast and i need a new one but not sure what really works with the flex in the chassis and the fuel tank bing so close.

Wanna trade? lol. Make sure you guys get your aluminum rear bearing inserts. I noticed a big difference when I put mine in.
