Default Hopup parts. Are they worth the cost?

I am about to get a few hop-up parts for my reflex and wanted to know if they are the cost.

I already have the basic hop-ups like Alum brake lever, hex nuts, sway bar

Nt2512 Alum middle mount

Nt2129 Alum. shock tower

Nt 2155 Hardened disk brake

Kyosho Black springs (anyone know part number)

Rodney
rear black springs # VZ073-4016
front black is VZ072-3017

Trinitys dual rate springs also work well.

Guys;

If you have the NON-anodized Pulleys and are having problems with them. I recommend the V1RR Reinforced Pulley Set. The Part # is VZ008-B. Tower has them in Stock.

The V1R "Black" springs just seem to make the Car more Balanced Front to Rear. For a Large Permanent Track, they may be a little soft, but still a very good starting point. For Parking Lot Tracks, they are the best.

rodneybarrett;

Trim the Back of the Stock Clutch shoes to lighten them up and engage later. This is per Trinity's recommendation.
One thing about the Centax, is you don't have to deal with those (@>%?^@!) clutch springs anymore.

Will an SG crank shaft work with the Team Only Kit Centax? Or do I still need to get the adpator for the SG crank shaft?

Thanks,

Default Reflex Centax clutches

You only need the adapter nut when using a Standard RFX Clutch. The 'Team Only' Centax MUST be used on a SG Crank and comes with it's own special nut. (look at the instructions)

THeGame;

I didn't like the very Small diameter Flywheel on the Trinity Centax. This is why I installed the MTX-3 Centax on my Car. The Flywheel is closer to the Standard Reflex flywheel diameter, so the engine runs more consistant on small tracks and is easier to drive. (price was 1/2 the cost too)

Game just saw the forcast doent look to good. Where did you get your team only kit and how much. Popsracer Yes I have had problems with the stock pullies and belts. Ran the car 3 times and broke a front pulley and belt, must have got a small pebble in it. So the vir pullies are a direct fit?
