Thanks to everyone who fought to get us the best possible coverage. Jarrod and Mike have given un incredible photos. I watched Mike run all over yesterday to get the best possible shots.

Shane's crew was there shooting all day yesterday. What a commitment to the event and to our hobby.

Thanks you all!

Congrats to the incredible racers. The level of competition was amazing! When you have former and current world champions in "E" and "F" mains that says a ton about the level of competition.

What a commitment the local host staff made to make the event what it was! Have incredible appreciation for the effort they made to make this a WORLDS to remember.

Thanks to everyone!

Great photos Mike, Thanks!!

What body was Hara running? At first glimpse I thought it was a Mazda, but then looking closer its not, i'm thinking Ride or is it the Tamiya Subaru?

It could be the new Ride Accord. The front grille is like a Mazda 6 too.

The photos of the other A-Mains are now posted. If you read the commentary with the piccys, and have already read response #90, #91, and #92, you'll have a pretty good idea of how the race went, at least near the front of the pack.

I may get more piccys posted later, but not until after dinner, un-packing, and doing my laundry and other stuff. First on the list though is dinner!

You know, it's really difficult to start with 500 or so photos, and cut it down to about 50. It's hard to pick only those photos that best illustrate the race.

Just a couple of corrections, I am not sure who Juho runs for.

CONGRATULATIONS Marc Rheinard on TQ and to all the Team Orion / Peak drivers on their outstanding qualifying performances. Good luck in the main event!!!
Juho runs for Reedy.

Guys, some good news:

I am picking up our video footage--31 DV tapes!--in about two hours and I will do what I can to get one of the three A mains up here tonight. I will probably choose #2 since it appears to have had the most action, but we will see.

If anybody is capable of mirroring a 50-60MB video, please let me know.

Thanks!

V12, where did you get the above information? According to the driver information sheet that each A-Main driver filled out, Billy Easton said he drove a Yokomo "MR4TC-SD" car. Daisuke Yoshioka said he used a "LRP Fusion" motor.

Up above, you have Billy using a "Yokomo SDW" car, and you have Daisuke using an "Orion" motor. If you're certain about this, what I posted is wrong... but it came right from the drivers...

Also, if anyone is looking closely at the photos I posted, they don't match up with the race results. According to all the printouts, in the A-Mains, Billy Easton was supposed to be car #6, and Surikarn Chaidejsur was supposed to be car #5... but if you check the photos, Billy ran car #5, and started from position #5. Surikarn ran car #6 and started from position #6. Apparently both of them had the wrong numbers on their car for the whole day, and neither realized it?
