Hello, sorry for such a newbie question but I am new to brushless and want to make sure before I drop a chunk of change in it, it will work for what I want it to do.

I have a Losi XXX4 4wb Buggy and getting a Losi JRXS Type R On-road sedan. I have seen a lot of talk about the Castle Creations Mamba Max systems and wanted to know which system would work for both vehicles. I don't ever run both on the same day and want to be able to swap them back and forth if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was looking at the higher end 7700 system but not sure if I should stick with a lower one or if it would make much of a difference. Any suggestions would be great. Please let me know.

You may want to research some of the Novak systems, theres more variety,
with in the same compatibility.
The new sport systems are affordable and have three speeds to choose from.
Stock to a mild mod.
One speedo and 3 motors that will cover all your on road and off road needs.
Unless you just want to cut loose and run full on mod?
Then check out the GTB, It will handle the full on mod power.

So I asked a few folks at the track today and a lot run a 4300 system. What would be my best bet for that. I would rather get the best esc that I can get to allow me to change engines if need be but be able to run in the 4300 class. Any suggestions?

Well the GTB is the raining King in Novak brushless theres no motor limit.
If cost isn't an issue? For performance reliability and the best customer support you just cant go wrong with the GTB or the sport version.
I run the GTB.
If you have the money to spend, step out with the GTB.
I bought the 5.5 system to get start when I bought my Novak.
From stock to mod, GTB's are very smooth. I haven't tried the sport version yet.

Awesome, so if I got with the GTB I can use different motors as needed? That would be perfect. Any suggestions of the best place to pick one up. Again, thanks for your help.

Well I like to start where I'm going to race, and check to see if theres any good used deals while your there. If no help then I go to all the local hobby shops, then if no help I go to the internet, but In 11 years I've only had to use it twice.
Try to support your local team first, you will feel better about racing at the facility you choose to race at. Patron support is the key to keeping a place to race.
And like I always say:
GO FAST AND TRY NOT TO CRASH!
