use the 13.5 setup I posted and just change the following:

reserved: 89 -> 81

switchpointrpm: 10000 -> 15000

and you should be set

gearing between 5,5 and 7,5 depending on the track

Going to run 1s lipo in 12
What would you set the esc to at present for 4cell i have been on prog3 but what else would you change on rhe settings to compensatw for the lower voltage going to run 4 turn in it
Also if running sensorless what timing would you use?
Thanks

martin i wonder if you can help

Customer has a brand new 120 with version 7.2 software.
running standard mode 8 from factory, set using tx as customer has no pc
this has melted 3 motors, gm, novak and nosram
the motors are running at approx 100deg c after only 2 mins!
i cannot see what could be causing this ?
i will download settings and send gda when i have gda, but what could cause this?
i run same speedo same geraing and motor at club and mine run fine and only 60c.

Many Thanks

from my experience mode 8 in 7.2 fw is too hot for stock motors. Try mode 6 or 7. difference can come from the driving style.

yeah that sounds like a plan
I cannot really tell you how long it takes but I'd say no longer than 2 weeks

as stated in the manual if you run sensorless the "timing without sensors"HAS TO BE SET to 30°
"timing with sensors" = 0°
then just use a 4T sensorless and you are good

yes for 13.5, the 90 is as good as the 120. I'm not sure if they get delivered with the new firmware though.
