Default Snowbirds Help!

Gonna run my Mission SST in the Oval 6-Cell 19-Turn class at the Snowbirds. Since this will be my first time on carpet with my Mission sure could use some help:

Tires - Springs - Oil - Gearing

Thanks guys, the state race was a great start to the 2004 Florida State Series for Schumacher!!!!

amusicwiz....Tony P didn't have that setup anymore and he doesn't really remember what he ran. I hope someone can help you out with this, but all I can recommend is to start out with a good carpet setup (road-course) and then work on it from there.

An:

The S1 is a fiberglass type material that is not quite as stiff as the carbon fiber (and doesn't mave that carbon fiber look). It, however doesn't cost as much as carbon fiber, so that kit is usually not as expensive as the C/F kit. Other than that (which ends up being the chassis, top plate and shock mounts front and rear) the cars are identical. Hope that helps...

...as far as weight, on the Mission and other cars, the difference was only slight. The main benifet is the stiffness.
