and for faster. do you mean at the track or just a top speed? for top speed yes it may be faster but itll take longer than for an awd. lap times would be faster awd unless its a really grippy wide open traack

BTW, you said that acceleration would be slower, how do you figure that?
homage to a BMI full kit FK04 chassis (towers batt straps bumper support etc etc). click link for pics

No offense, but your micro is a bit different than my Xray, not exactly a good comparison. As for faster, yes I know that top speed will be faster, but I wanted to know if anyone had tried running a RWD setup on a track, because I'm sure you could get it to work, just need to change the setup.

and for slower acceleration. i was thinking you cant full throttle or itll start slipping. as for accelerating outta corners even more so. and the front will give you no braking.

If acceleration is going to be slower because it slips, then that is a setup problem, if you can get it dialed then it'll be much quicker. My point of my original question was "What would it take to get the car to work in RWD to be worth it?"

Xray 04 FK
I am new to the Xray family. I did a search and could not find an answer. I was wondering if anyone has set up the XRC Chassis will the all the cells on the Right side of the chassis. If so what kind of modifications are required and did the car handle?

Leave the packs as they are on the 04 as the work better as a saddle pack

Bulkhead screws
Im trying to get the bulkheads out of my chassis and, ive already stripped one (no prob there). I believe the scews are 3mm, but they are tight as hell. Is there an easy way to get them out?

correct, to make this work on the xrc chassis you would need a plung router.

This has probably been discussed, but how do people like soaking there belts in WD40? And if have done this do you just wipe it off or just run it with the wd40 on it after you let it sit for hours, days etc.

Ive heard of soaking them in isopropyl alcohol for up to 24 hours. Id imagine youd want to wipe off any WD40 left on the belts as WD40 loves to attract dirt
