Does anyone know if there is one available or in the making? i'm looking for a FM crystal-less system for the 3PK. i remember someone posting about it being released in japan but any idea for a state side version or release?

Futaba will be releasing the sythesizer 3pk transmitter module sometime next year... Novak's version is on hold.
Futaba will also have the R303 sythisize receiver coming out as well.

Cool, i've emailed Novak and they said they are currently not going to build one for that model since Futaba has their own synthesized technology. So i'll definetly be on the lookout for Futaba's version next year. Thanks

I have a 3PK and the Spectra module from a LYNX radio works for me. I use it with a Novak receiver.

I've used the 3pk with hitec's spectra module for about eight months now. I also use novak's "xxtra" receivers.

I've heard the Hitec's will work....
but I'm going to stick with genuine Futaba products for reliabity, quality and support.

The hitec will work but will not do HRS. Until there is one that will do HRS I'll stick with crystals.

The new Futaba module will do HRS... can't wait to get one.
I think the new synthesized HRS receiver is as small as the original.

So, is the novak synth on hold or production is cancelled?

the told me they will not produce it since Futaba is coming out with one. Novak module would be cheaper...but I'd rather go with OEM products from Futaba.

I've been using the Hitec in my Futaba with the Novak reciever for 2 years with no problems. What is HRS?

High Response System.
combined with HRS transmiter, HRS receiver, and digital servo...the response time 2-4 time faster.
