Will the UK kit work on carpet? Need a place that has it in stock at a decent price...$450 is just too much. I can't justify spending 1/2 grand on a touring car kit.
PNP Hobbies in Palm Bay FL has them in stock for $399. Give them a call at 321-723-7318

I don't see why he couldn't ship it international for you. I can help him with that. If you're serious about it, we can get it done for you....

The kit for $450 is the Carpet Spec kit.

The standard and UK kits sell for $400 to $420.

The UK kit works fine on Carpet........... Jeff Dayger nearly won the Carpet Nationals with a box stock UK kit, finished 2nd.

Good run for the RDX at the West Virginia State Champs.

Mo Denton TQ'd and won both stock and 19-turn with his car, and I drove mine to 3rd in both classes.

Default Ackerman aggressive set-up?

I'm running on a wide open high bite carpet track, the track has 2 sweepers begining and at the end of the 110 ft. straightaway.

with a 9x1 single going down the straight away it will have you on edge ,will the aggressive set allow you to take sweeper deeper at the entering point of the turn, I have been able to start making the turn at the end of the straight away(SOMETIMES) but I always seem to be a frog hair away from that 2x4 barrier, oh ya I'm runnin' the stock set-up

I think you'll find that that there's this little thing called foreign exchange rates!!!
The $399 is USD which compares to approx: $AUD540 plus the extra shipping costs that we have being so far away from everywhere.

I think $US399 is still pretty cheap though, considering the RDX is such a good car and comes with all the goodies ready for racing, i.e. there are very few option parts required to go competitive racing!
:-)

You guys in the States are lucky to get it for that! I talked with a guy in Japan who runs the RDX and retail Japan price is the equivalent of over $AUD1000 :-P
