Default Electric Motor Help

Need some Help:

Just purchased a D5 motor for my TC3. Wired it all in, and the motor runs backwards. Uninstalled motor and put it on my Pulsar comp, to verify direction and it is indeed running backwards. Is it OK to run the motor with the POS and NEG wires switched around? Or did I get a defective motor?

Thanks in adavance for the help.

Jimmy

The end bell is probably on backwards. Loosen the two screws that hold the endbell on and rotate it 180 degrees around. Set the timing on it to about 20 degrees advanced and you'll be fine.

Thanks guys, that did the trick. I thought I rotated it 180 last night, but it looks like my brain was shut off (up too late I guess).

Thanks Again,
Jimmy
