Its called Mate. Its like this grain that looks like a thick grass, and its dry. You put it on the cup, pour some hot water, and sugar(if you like) and suck it thru this sort of special metal straw. The straw is like a strainer on the end, that way you only suck the water and not the grass. It doesnt have any wier properties. Like Michael P. said, its like a tea.
