Default Time for a new Steering Servo and undecided

My Hitec just took a permanent vacation for the 3rd time. I have had it repaired twice and think its time to move on. Looking for a good low profile servo for my Xray T2 that im converting to a VTA car. I have never used a Propo before but it looks good on paper. Any feedback on a Propo PDS-2413 ICS? Or a good repalcement?

Low-profile the only serious contenders are the KO you mention (can't comment on that as I have no experience with it), or the Futaba S9550/9551. I have the Futaba 9550 and it has been faultless in my TC's for the past 2 or 3 years.

I've owned several of both the Futaba S9550/9551 and the KO Propo PDS-2413 low profile servos. The KO has slightly better specs, but from running both I would save the money and go with the Futaba.

I was just wondering what model of Hitec servo you were using? I have been using the 5691 in my T2 without a single glitch.. Excellent servo.

Shawn.

I was running a 625mg and this is the 3rd car it has been installed in and a few bashers too. It has lived a rough life. I am unable to find a 5691 on Hitec's web site. What are the specs on it if you have them? Thanks!

I have both servo but I like the KO PDS-2413 over Futaba S9551. It has better feel for me and it reacts faster ad soother than futaba.
