Default Novak Electronics Appreciation Thread. ( No Negativity Wanted)

I see more and more people starting threads to try and have their way. When we make a mistake and wire something wrong or not properly connect sensor harnesses we can't blame a company for our wrongs. Especially when we mix up electroncs from different manufacturers.

I have had Novak electronics in my cars for many years. When speed controls were just MSCs it was always a problem getting those damn resistors to work right. Now ESCs are making it a delight to run these cars. Novak makes some of the best in the industry. From 410s to Tempest, Cyclones, Atoms, GTXs, now GTBs, all great working products.

Novak is a great company and a pioneer in the industry. They have great customer service. Technical service is one of the best. At big or small events their representives are the easiest going people. The are polite and understanding. I take my hat off to Novak Electronics. Thanks for all of your help. Others that feel the same, feel free to chime in.

Glad to see your happy with them. I personally am not. Not going to get into my reasons. But here is the deal.....this is a forum and not everyone will always be a "YES" man to how great one thing or another is....it is silly to think it ...this thread will be getting heated real soon.........It is just about like the old Ford VS Chevy crud!

I've never had a problem with Novak. Great company.

Every company runs into a problem from time to time. I would say the best way to handle it is to go straight to them with reasonable requests and a courteous manner. If all that fails, then put a thread up on here asking respectfully for help and it should get straightened out. If it doesn't then AND ONLY THEN start the flaming. Everyone that saw your help thread will understand your reasons and not hate you for it. Of course, you won't have to do the flame thread for Novak since if you follow my advice you will get your problem taken care of.

NOVAK is a Business - and like a lot of businesses, they pride themselves on providing a very good product, and a very good customer service.

Does that mean they are perfect? No - but neither is FORD, GM, Dell Computers, MicroSoft, or ANY other company.

ALL Companies have products that fail, or malfunction, which is why products usually have a WARRANTY.

I like NOVAK - why?

NOVAK has built products that RACERS asked for - they may have had reservations about it, and thought the products would never fly - but they built them, and some of them have become quite popular. (17.5 Motors - 21.5 Motors) To BOB - ADNAN - CHARLIE - and the WHOLE Novak Crew - THANK YOU

Ive had a couple issues with motors that failed. Both were resolved quickly with walk in service.

Public forum "Yes" but it's people like you that start the negetive comments when this is trying to show some of the positive that Novak has done. It wouldn't have hurt you to keep your comments to yourself or post them in the other threads already started.

Count me in as a "yes" guy...

I got into r/c about the time the first SS5800 brushless came out. Just about any problem that anyone has had with any Novak brushless...I've had. I've owned probably a couple dozen...so I'm a "Power User".

The thing about Novak is that they just take care of business and don't get into the finger-pointing thing. Sure...I've had a couple of them "stillborn"...but I've had WAY more of them die by my hands...and the service is the same either way. They treat you fairly and they always give you the benefit of the doubt where they can...providing that you're not a dick about it. They just take care of business with a smile. I just can't bring myself to use anything else.

In fact, I just ordered another GTB-SS today. That's 5 total GTBs at the moment and 2 GTXs and I also have two Novak power supplies.

ive run novak forever and the only problem ive ever had is being resolved as we speak when you call novak you get to talk to a person that actually knows whats going on.IM not sure if tech people answer the phone or if its a secretary but its cool to call, ask a question and have the person that answered the phone give a compotent answer and not put you on hold and shuffle you off to another department.

I tried them all and I always come back to Novak.
I have met Bob, Charlie and Steve and all 3 are great guys who will bend over backwards to help you out!
I dont know how they manage to keep that great customer service attitude with all the stupid people they have to deal with.

Indeed, I've worked in CS before(taking calls from both Sprint & DIRECTV customers doing tech support for them), & even for the short time I did it, it got hard to keep a good attitude with the really bad customers. And Bob, Charlie & Steve have been doing it for far longer than I ever did, but are still GREAT to deal with. You just don't encounter quality people like that often, & when I do, I stick with them.....

I have been in the people (customer service) biz for many years. It is tough. Once in awhile you have a few individuals who choose to make poor choices and air there dirty luandry in the middle of you store or in this case on a public forum. I have had people escorted out of my store for creating a sceen in front of other customers. I wish there was away that the forum administration could lock out these company bashers until they learn how to handle adversity properly.

I have had a couple of problems with speedo's and motors as well. Hey, it's just part of racing... stuff like that happens...

NOVAK HAS ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF ME! They are who other companies look up too in terms of customer service.

I will run Novak products as long as I am in this great hobby.

Thanks,

Travis

I Live In Australia and had purchased my various Novak motors and Speedys from US companies. I had some problems with the first GTB spread specktrum ESC's and spoke to Charlie via many emails. He personally sorted all my issues and resolved them and took care of the postage which was substantial. Novak's customer service and commitment by its employees is truly second to none. Many of the leading companies around the world could take a leaf out of Novaks book.
