Building a new b6.1d 2wd buggy and was wondering what's a good servo?
I was looking at a Reedy RT1408, but it looks like they are discontinued ?
What do you guys recommend?

Check the mounts first. I have a B6D and a low profile servo isn't ideal for the servo mount, it crushes the cable on one side. I am using it for now as thats all I have but will be changing to a standard size servo asap. I assume the B6D and B6.1D mounts are the same, but could be wrong.

How is the Savox 1258 or the Reedy RT1508? I have a M12S and a 510R.

Probably need to confirm if the OP has a Sanwa system which can leverage SSR, though I am not convinced that SSR is necessary. I recently picked up an AGF servo which can be programmed to support SSR, however I run a Graupner X-8E system and have found that you can control many features besides SSR to get the servo to work to your liking, and I was honestly impressed with the smoothness of the servo right out of the box!

Responding to the poster using an M12s and asking about the Reedy or Savox. Both of those are limitations for his radio imo. It doesn’t make sense to have a radio with a fast response mode and not use it and get the most out of it. I have found other servos than Sanwa’s own to be fastest on the clock

I only ask this because the AGF servo I referenced is listed as:
Control System: PWM 1520us/333hz

This is for a 1/10 2wd buggy. It doesn't need to be a torque monster like some have recommended. No one like Reedy servos?
I just want a good reliable servo that is fast for 1/10 buggy 2wd racing.

if you don't mind buying from China and want to save a few bucks, then I would consider this one too:
A62CLS 12kg.cm(167oz-in) @6.0V - 0.093sec/60°@6.0V
