The fill in the JP crank is to direct the mixture flow so it goes out more efficiently, right Motorman

It looks like a ramp right?

hey motorman i was browsing thru ace hobbies.
i looked at the rb.12 prices for the engine parts
is it really true that rotary carbs are more expensive than the slide carb?

1700-100A Slide Carburator Complete-Alloy (1 Piece) 55.00 (retail)$46.75 (there price)
1700-100R Rotary Carburator Complete-Alloy (1 Piece) 70.00 (retial)$59.50 (there price)

Hi Motorman,

I have one JP RS12-T1 which I bought in July this year. This engine is powerful but laterly the power have reduces. Can you advise me what to do to increase back the power. This engine have run 3-4 races and clean it every two races. Any suggestion on the pipe or manifold use. Currently I am using Novarossi tune pipe and manifold. What is the suggested length for my tune pipe and manifold. The engine compression is still ok. As my weather here is hot I usually use Novarossi No. 7 cold plug. I hope you can give me some tip on this engine.

Hey Dennis, what did Steve P have to say about the RTU? Did he put it on his dyno? I'd like to see an article in RCCA!!!!

Pups

Better get your MT12 modded.

Tekrsq

The RTU probably went off the little dyno scale.

Oh, he is.

Hmm...maybe I should take the RTU out of the box and run it one time at Delta.
