sounds like you need to try more toe in on the rear and possibly more overdrive to the front, thats without looking at what you already have setup,,you got some pics so people can see your setup

with our E-Mugen we have had to do a few things since they produce so much power. we are running 24 to 26 tooth pinions with 49T spurs to gear them a bit taller. we are running throtel Expo also.... more rear toe like 3 degrees plus. a lot of front and rear droop to help transfer the weight. locate batteries as far back as possible.

the concrete will also not provide the traction that a prepared asphalt surface will, and yes we are saucing the tires with traction compound.

hope that helps

its hard not knowing about particular cars setups that make it hard for people to set cars up ,,like knowing that if the serpent 966e is genuine then the battery placement cannot be moved further back as they are centrally placed packs for weight distribution, which alters all geometry to start with so how is that helping people to sort out there car by giving them information that doesn't apply.so yes i agree Boa is the serpent 966e genuine or is it a 966 that you have modified to electric then we will be on the right track that is why photos were asked for to see what it was.

I moved my batteries from the center of the car to the sides. I'm running a 6s setup, so I have 3s battery packs on both sides of the car.

you are doing high speed straight line runs ? if so, take out your camber so you have full contact of the tyre on the ground. drop to 32Sh also. what KV motor ? 6S is a very agressive setup, you will light up the wheels no problems no matter the setup. specially hammering the throttle from a standing start.

Oh ok that's cool, so are you running 2200 or 2650? I don't go to the track because I'm only doing high speed passes and I need to get the most out of my 966e.

It's a 2000kv, but let me tell you something to think about when looking at those numbers.

2 guys at my track run the Serpent F-180, converted to electric.
The both have the exact same set-up, same gearing, same tyre diameter, same Tekin ESC, same ESC settings but the have 1 thing different.
1 runs the 2650kv Tekin motor, and 1 runs the 2250kv Hobbywing motor.
Now, can you explain me why they both have the exact same speed on the straight?

1 of the 2 manufacturers is not giving the correct figures, or not?
So,please don't always believe, or atleast let your choice depend on those figures, they are there to sell the product, in a lot of cases....

Ok that makes sense, so looking at my car what do you think the problem is? My braking is horrible because every time I brake the car spins around and I'm tried braking HARD and Soft. My acceleration is great, but it handles like crap. It's like I'm not getting the power to the ground.
