Where is the reference point for measuring droop on this 414M?
I've got the down-stop blocks already.
The other thing is on the official Tamiya page where Surikarn's setting was shown, they use the term 'rebound stroke'. It says rebound stroke front 1.5mm, rear 2mm. Again where am I suppose to find the point of reference? Could someone please help? Many thanks.

Who sells better bearing kit for 414m2? The stock bearings are not smooth.....

um .. stock setup is c1 left c2 right ....... that has less stearing

i am using c1 right and c2 left .... already tried it and yes it has more compared to stock .....

i am running on a med bite track ...
and i also do not use roll bars all around ...

stock rear A-arm holders ......

no spacer under the front camber links
2 mm for the rear

no droop limitations ...
just changed from 50W to 30W rear damping ....
front is at 50W..... stock springs ...

shortest wheelbase

anti dive = stock front
anti squat = rear 2mm on 'rear-front' A-arms holders (just changed from RF 2mm and RR 0.7mm)
( u refer to it as roll centres )

outermost hole on rear shocks mount and med hole on front shock mount ........
dual one ways

i still cant get the rear end to bite and still have enuff stearing to my liking .....

some guys say i take the turns too fast .... and i need fulltime 4wd for a better slow down to take the turns ....
but i am already VERY slow ...!!!

or should i change my slow-mo s3003 servo???

rite now the rear end is stuck but very unpredictable ... can just break traction very very suddenly - can deal with this tho

wondering what does putting spacers on the camber links on the bulkheads do ?? i think its the response through out the turn ....
on weather i want it more in the start middle or end point of a turn ??

but i just CANNOT get enuff stearing.............. (maybe i should slow down) ??

right now what i will try raising the rear roll centres to 5mm height and have a difference of 1.4-2 mm higher on the RF A-arm holder ..... waiting for spacers....

then will place harder prings at the rear and softer ones infront ...
pluz laying down the front shock mounting location all the way ...

Maybe you have the regular M, silver bulkhead, which has a much better bearings with blue teflon? cover.

I agree the M2 and newer release including the WR equipped with cheaper bearings.

The original 414M is very smooth, but even so, I open the Teflon seals on mine and flushed the grease and then lubed them with Fantom bearing oil and replaced the seals.
