Sorry, but I am not sure what you mean by "wears out". Are you referring to the actual material breaking down, like maybe hard arms turn to medium arms over time?

I have yet to test graphite arms, but the hard & medium arm seem to last a long time. I do use a 3mm reamer on the arms and polish the pins to an almost mirror finish.

The kit items take a long time to develop any slop, the graphite arms are supposed to change the handling.
I wouldn't change them just to make them last longer, change them because you want to change the setup.

Only problem I found with the graphite, is that when I tried to remove the roll bar drop links from them I broke one of the 'pivot balls' that form part of the wishbone.

How do the graphite arms handle in comparison to stock ones?

David

My T4 came with graphite arms on it, I'd say they feel very sharp and highly responsive, I want say they may even weigh a bit less, but I'm not sure on the T4, I do know though you will sacrifice some strength, most graphite things tend to more brittle, so they likely won't take a hit like the plastics will.

Thanks guys, definitely wanting to add a bit more response as well along with the graphite arms. I haven't broken anything since buying it new last year. Just going to do a full rebuild of the suspension to tighten it all up again as if it was new.

Actually, RC America has told us that they expect them some time in October, I would venture out and say that in the second half of the month. We are going to start a pre order for them today as well as the X12 2014, which is only a week or two away.

Being in Texas, we will be one of the first shops to get them

I probably wouldn't buy them again, but I bought 3 of them and am just making use of them.
Thanks a lot for your feedback.

I've been using graphite front arms for around 4 months now and I love em!
In my humble opion, I feel I get a better response from the car, feels more precise and just sharper and quicker all around.
I have not broken one, but I imagine they are weaker than the standard arms.

Hey all: I recently bought a used T4 and I am combing through it now. The front belt feels too tight (and has since I bought it). I've rotated the cam to try to give it as much slack as possible but it goes from very taut to still tight. I cleaned the gunk out of the pulleys so I don't think it's that. Please post some ideas if you've got any - I'd really appreciate it
