sheez, we only stop racing for a couple of weeks during the x-mas holidays.

our championship runs from late jan till late Nov, but there are club meets right through the year

no real off-season here in Australia, we get to race all year

normally there might be a slow down around christmas, but this year we have a couple of "team based" enduro meetings and regular club meets rut up until christmas. Then late in January we have a Summer Nationals event.

Any one here tried some Sanyo HV cells yet? I can't wait to get my hands on some...we will see if thay can match the performance of SMH cells.

Must be nice for you guys down under. Here in Kansas we could race from about mid-March till usually about the end of Nov.

I think with three different local tracks all competing for pretty much the same weekend racers, we might start a little earlier next year and finish a little later, since they all will be trying to out do each other to win our loyalties.


Once again, competition for business benefits the consumer!

Just got a 12M for carpet season. It's my first 12th scale and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks for the car.

Fit and finish is excellent - my first Corally also. The manual is not very comprehensive and I think it would be useful for them to include some pictures.

Anyone race this car yet?

I have the previous model SP12 G3 nice, simple design and very fast. If you have a look on the Corally site, you will find a setup for the 12 G3, this setup should give you some ideas.

RacerTex: Congrats on the Corally purchase.

There were two things that Corally really needed to correct about their company's kits.

One was the lack of support. Now with corallyusa in place, thats no longer a problem.

You just ran into the other problem. The manuals. I just feel that for what they charge for the kits(all of them) they should be able to put out a decent manual. It doesn't have to be like the Xray manual, but atleast reach to the level of budget kits' manuals!

I've just picked up 2 sets of 3000HV's. I love the SMH's but from the rave reviews so far I was enticed to get myself an early Christmas present. After this weekend I'll let you guys know how they compare to the Psonics....

MikeR: well you'd be surprised how many people do need a stinkin' manual!

It would only take minor effort to create a quality manual for the C4.1.

MikeR: Yes, let us know how they turn out. I haven't made the jump to Nimh batteries yet, but I will for the start of next years outdoor season. I really want the 3000HV so it would be good to know they are worth the money.

Question: What revisions would we all like to have included on the next C4.x revision??

- I would not mind seeing a factory split top deck (thismay actually be an item soon anyway).
- A simpler way of adjusting anti-squat (what not just copy the X-Ray on this one, X-Ray would not mind would they... )

black-Knight: I wouldn't mind seeing some lighter suspension arms.(while keeping the same strength--if thats possible) Rear suspension arms with more lower shock mounting options. Front suspension arms with more lower shock mounting positions.

I don't know maybe an in dash CD player!

black-knight: oh hell, how could I forget, one of the biggest things they need to improve.

How about getting some bearings that match the quality of the rest of the car! Ones that don't fall apart when you try to clean them!

Darkseid: I have not had any issues with the bearings in my c4.1, i have removed them for service several times and they are still good.
