The Long Arms, contrary to typical long arms actually make the suspension softer due to the increase in length between the lower shock pivot and outer pivot. The tire is more supported, the scrub radius is decreased and the results are a smoother car with more stability, more steering and more corner speed. The long arms were used by Eric Albano and Mark Dawson to TQ and Win the 17.5 Rubber and 17.5 Foam Classes at the 209 Carpet Challenge this past weekend.

Even though the race was on gray low-medium bite carpet, we really do think these will provide good results in really high bite conditions as it will make the suspension act softer and will allow us to use a little more aggressive settings on our Genesis TCs.
A lot of fun watching Mark and Eric. Their cars looked great on the track. A couple of other people became interested in the Genesis at the track.
Thanks to Mark for all of the help.

The 3D printed parts have just arrived.

THe V2 spool and Diff Conversions are not for the AMX parts, they are the AMX parts and pieces necessary to install on the Genesis.

It is extremely helpful to have receptive drivers. I appreciate your questions and willingness to try different approaches. We'll continue to push!

Thanks CT, cant wait to receive new parts. Finally ran the car with the updated parts and so far so good. It was a bit hairy with very old worn out ribbed tires but still very predictable and easily controllable.

Yeah, thats what I mean, bits and pieces needed to install the AMX parts onto the Genesis.

Couple of questions.
Does anyone have a starting setup for asphalt?
Do you use the same shock towers for ulp shocks as stock shocks?

thanks Roy

Kit is going together nicely.
Question about the new axles. What is the purpose of putting thread lock in the hole in ST116? will it help hold the pin in. Worried about it getting in moving parts. I use blue locktite and it is pretty runny.

Yes, it is supposed to keep the part in. Fwiw, I don’t use loctite, I just keep well greased. I will say these drop out fairly easy if you pop something and the bone cones out of thr drive cup.

I used thread lock and made a mess, ST113 was not moving freely. Grease would be my recommendation.

I scored a genesis on fleebay. WHat are the must haves for black carpet? The car appears to be very stock looking with a carbon chassis.

Really some tuning springs, aluminum chassis for sure. The new hubs are nice for castor doodles.
