Quick question for you guys...does anyone know if the TLR screw in tranny brass weights still fit if the Exotek brass suspension holder is being used? I'm kinda assuming not, but wanted to ask you guys for confirmation. Thanks!

I don't fully understand but can try and help.

The laydown idler is different from the narrow stand up idler and won't fit in a lay down tranny.

TLR232060 is the stand alone SR diff nut. Standard TLR232001 diff rebuild kit plus the SR diff nut all work together.

Not cut idlers available yet, working on that for this fall, but you can get the 3.0 cut gear set and still use the narrow diff gears. TLR332064.

Correct, the nut in TLR2958 is for the standard diff and will not work for the SR diff, so you need TLR232060.

We also have the entire diff available in one package, TLR232071, which is in stock right now.

Quick questions for my 22t, 3.0, but more people on this threat and the shocks are the same. And, once done with 22t, ordering the 4.0.
Getting ready to build my first pair of Losi shocks, are the stock pistons good or should I order something else? I like the 2x1.6 configuration.

So this might be the most durable car I have ever owned. I have thrashed and thrashed it to no end for the past couple of months and nothing has broken. This weekend at the track I changed my gearing to be more aggressive to try and clear the triple in new layout and while practicing the jump the car crashed so hard that the front camber turnbuckle was ripped out of the ballstud entirely but the ballstud did not break. During the hit the steering linkage popped off and went flying but that was it. I screwed the turnbuckle back on the ballstud, popped it back in along with the steering link ballstud and was good to go.

As for wear and tear I have some good slop in the rear arm hinge pin area from all the thrashing but that's it.

Last week this guy clipped my rear tire in the straight at high speed so car went flipping sideways down the straight to the end of the track, flew off the track and slammed into the wall then to a 6ft drop on concrete and nothing broke.

The stock pistons are fully machined, and designed to fit perfectly. They really don't get better than that.

The stock pistons are very good. VRP is a tuning option you can try and work awesome too!!

I started building my carpet 4.0 last night. I have a good idea how to set up the car for carpet, but does anyone have some setup sheets they can share with me so I can compare.

Anyone having issues with the rear ballstud becoming loose in the rear hubs (with 2mm or larger shim)? Assuming this is due to the aluminum top plate, not allowing the ball stud to screw into the plastic as much as it did before. Anyone try 10mm studs when using a 2mm shim?
