Well, the car is essentially done but we are not quite at a point where we can pull the trigger on production. Soon enough though.

Right now we are working on an Xray T4 chassis. Narrower design and kyosho style suspension mounts. You will be able to use std mounting as well and it will have potential for keyed layshaft holders.

I'm posting from a different thread, didn't know this one since it said tc6 upgrades.
I ordered the asphalt spring set (5 sets) and when looking at the description it only shows rates for 4 sets and doesn't include yellows. Is the website not updated or am I not reading right?
I placed the order this morning 6/5/13 and the price was $33 after shipping, did I buy the right set?

Yellow is 14.5-15.2. They are brand new so that's why they aren't listed on the site yet. I think the spring chart is up to date though.

Edit- look at post 2201 and 2202

I also ordered the steering rack stand off that allows more lock, can't wait to use that and see how the car is with more steering

Having run Pink/Blue and Pink/Black combinations on carpet again tonight.

What combination would you suggest if the car is getting a bit too easy to drive?
I ideally need to free the back end up slightly to help with the 180 corners etc we have as grip comes up.

Thanks

Ran the new asphalt T4 springs this weekend.
Started with yellow in the rear and silver front, I won my first qualifier so didn't change the springs to try what the others were like and worked around that combo.
They are much better than the XRAY 4S and if you own a T4 they are a must have

CT, the RSD top deck for the TC6 is out of stock. Do you still make them? If not, where can I find a top deck with more flex?

We are not making them right now. You might be able to find a Zeppin one at RC Mushroom.

We are working on a new chassis bottom deck/ top deck/ motor mount/ layshaft holder/ bulkhead so we probably won't make the top deck again unless we get enough demand for it. However write me an email to the shop and I can probably put one in stock for you still.

Any news on what the x ray t4 2.5 is rated at? Also what kind of washer are you using on top of the steering bell cranks, and is that to reduce play? Any reason to use your o rings instead of the factory x ray in the shocks?

Hi Christian, just a quick question about your short springs. The measurement of 14mm and 20mm, is that referring to spring height or diameter. Looking to get a set but just wan pt to be sure. Thanks in advance.

Macki, if you send me some 2.5s to test, I will gladly test them when I find the time. I have not had use for them, so I still have not bothered to purchase a set. With our new facility build out however, I won't have time for the next 3-4 weeks though.

Trigger, yes. Our asphalt springs have a 14.0mm ID and a length of 20mm.
