Are there any issues in using these parts in other tc shocks? They all look similar to the same size and design, but it would be naive to think that every piston and shaft and oring are the same size, diameter.
I want to rebuild some old Yokomo shocks and Im wondering what RSD or other pieces I can use. I bought some soft bladders, but Im not sure about the collars and rings.

The bladders might work, but it depends on the space between the shock cap and the shock top. if it is too large the bladder won't seal. I believe the pistons are a little too small in diameter for the yokomo shocks.

Congrats to RSD Team Driver Ethan Erchinger for winning the open modified class at the 2013 REEDY Race.

Ethan's win adds another successful result for RSD Following the ROAR Asphalt Nats where Team Driver Cory Parsons won the 13.5 TC Class.

Thanks for your hard work guys.

Default New Products

On another note, we just received our T4 Bladders, and 6mm adjustable body holders. These 2 items along with a few other little knick-knacks will go up on the website tomorrow.

Thanks! It was a great race, tons of fun, and NorCal represented as usual. 3 years in a row winning each of the open classes!

You can certainly fit them on the TC6.1 Just get the Spec R R1 or Spec R XRAY body posts. They are a direct fit on the TC6.1 and are much better.

Seeing the bumper reminded me of Fridays practice session. I had a speed control go bad, very bad, and hit the end of the straightaway at near 60 mph. I ruined a top deck but otherwise the car was safe. I think the stock bumper might not have faired as well.

The bladders look great, looking forward to trying 'em out.

Default New Springs and Updated Chart

Hi Guys, we received the all new Yellow Asphalt Spring. The Yellow Spring is softer than the silver. Similar to the 2.3-2.6 and 2.5-2.8, it actually has a wider range than both springs of progression. The new yellow spring is a 14.5-15.1 spring. It will be available later on tonight. All the asphalt spring sets will now include the new springs.

We also had a change to update the spring chart and we now have XRAY 4S 2.3 springs on there.

Sorry another plug for the V2 DCJ's

Ran them for the first time in my 6.1 and made a huge difference around our tight twisty track, I run a 5.0 Mod and they were also super durable with virtually zero maintenance, just a quick visual really to make sure the clip's hadn't moved.

So for me for the night I set a PB lap and overall time

For those considering moving to Mod, give it a try and stick at it, you may not be quick at first but you will learn lots and get there and have lots of fun...

oh yeah and buy lots of reflex gear

Beth.

Good to hear. I'm having trouble getting the clips to stay on. I crimped them a bit but that didn't seem to work. How are you getting yours to stay? Please share.
