Spectrum module and Futaba 3PK
Hi All,
I tried some of the Hitec HS5245 digital servos and have 4 DCX conversion receivers in my cars (these are so BITCH'N I cannot believe anyone in the world is buying anything else! You can buy 2 of these for the price of 1 Airtronics or Futaba RX!), and they are working very well for me in my TB EVO3 and F201 cars. So I am interested in other Hitec equipment and wondered if this would work for me with my Futaba 3PK.
Has anyone tried or is anyone running the Hitec Spectrum synthisized RF module in their Futaba 3PK. Does this combination work 100% right?
Are there any problems (glitching, loss of control etc.), in using this combination aside from the usual "you will void your warranty" and "this is not legal" offical lines that Hitec and Futaba will give me?
If you are running this setup can you share your experiences with us?
Thanks!!!

yeah the spectra works with the futaba 3PJ and 3PK series. I know it works with FM and PCM, but i've heard both ways on HRS, some say it works perfect others say it doesnt work.
Yes you are violating FCC rules according to hitec and futaba, and voiding warranties...

Hi Mosmxpx,
So the Spectrum works for certain in the 3PK in regualr PPM and PCM modes? WOW! Do you have any details of what transmitter and modulation modes were used with what receivers? Thanks!
Cheers
