Hey Jason,
Unfortunately, no one has had a chance to use that servo as it does not hit the market until August of this year. I have been testing the HS7950TH, and if the 40 is anything like the 50, it is going to be a very popular servo. The 50 is the torqy brother of the 40.

I thought it was bad enough that tower now lists july. August and the season is basically over for anything I will use it in. Might have to pick up a JR in the mean time. Dont want to cancel my order because it was part of a big order and they dont give the discount until after this ships.

JR makes great servos, if you have to have a servo right away that is a good choice. The 7955TG is also a great servo, it just doesn't have the speed i think you are after. IMHO you can't go wrong with titanium. I am willing to give up some speed to make sure that i finish a race.

I actually already have the 7955 in my hyper 9 now. Really want something faster. It was alright when I had 7v going to it but my tekin only does 6v and I really dont want to run an external bec unit.

I think the 7950 needs a warning for those people with radio's without EPA adjustments.. with tah amuch amount of torque on lipo, it would easily strip out servo horns.

Default 7940's

I am currently using 2 of these servos for steering in my buggy and my truggy. Plenty of power, blistering fast speeds. Best servo I have used to date and I have used the JR9100s, Associated DS1015, Hitec 7955.
