Ah ok, see I figured they would cause issues.. I don't mind using normal boots. Just I saw people on facebook saying the covers don't cause any binding issues, and some people even said that normal boots cause more issues than the covers? Ill just stick with the boots if that's the case. I've just seen a lot of talk the past few days about the covers so I figured I'd ask. Thanks for the reply!

Servos: Make sure you are at least at 300oz torque. I prefer closer to 400 if possible. I am not nearly as focused on speed. In fact, my preference is around .11-.14 for speed. Which if you look at alot of the top pros, they run that too. For example, Tessman and Cav run the 2274 from Savox....don't have the specs in front of me, but I think it's like .10 at 370ish torque.
ProTek makes really nice servos as well, so definitely check them out.

Tekno has 16mm shock bodies w/ 65-85mm springs. However, I don't know the actual spring diameter, but I suspect that the 'small' springs (for springs 16.5 - 17.5mm, up to 102mm in length) would fit though a quick measure would tell you for sure.

Just wanted to make sure that the new steering components will work on the .3? Can anyone that has ran them give some feedback on their performance.

To add to this, you'll also need to trim the front of the mudguards and body for clearance as well as cut your steering turnbuckles down (remove about 3mm from both ends) or buy shorter ones from lunsford.
