So can Cyrul put in another qualifier time with a "heavier" car...? or are all the heats done.

As long as it stops raining there are more quals to be run. The big issue at that point will be how good is the track after it dries. If the track grip isn't the same then anybody that didn't have a good first round will have a more difficult time moving up.

This is why qual points are usually more fair.

they r going 2 finish the 2rd tomorrow morning, then get 3 more rounds in tomorrow even if they have to run under the lights there. they got permission from the civic center to do so.

though that sounds like a long day at the track, which is better than a day anywhere else, I would love to see some pics and video of racing under the lights, nothing cooler than nitro racing under the lights

Well we got the Masters races in for the second round today. We will start the morning off with the 1/8th scale open. Race number 12.

We will be starting early tomorrow. We will open the track as soon as possible for practice. Then we will finish round 2 races. We are going to attempt to do 3 more rounds of qualifing. Looks like its going to be a long day. I cannot update during the day because I am running the live scoring off my laptop.

The heat list and results will be posted on the Winternats.com site as soon as we can get it done.

Also the main results will be done on Friday and Saturday as well.

Thanks to everyone who helped out today.

This is what i was told. Josh had teched his car earlier and it was above min weight. After his qual the car cam in under, and thus he got dq'ed. Apparently others came in under weight too but were not dq'ed, but given a warning instead. Tomorrow will be a better day for sure.

Oh Man did it rain today !!!!

Yes, Josh did get DQ'ed ... Lots of guys got DQ'ed ..like Toso

The sky cleared and we prepped the track and then ran three quals of masters ( my class) But my one way decided that three years of abuse was enough and locked up ...1 lap in AARRGGHH.

Up loading as we speak

Forgive the piss poor lighting, I was just walking around dodging the rain drops catching people where ever they were. Enjoy

Sorry Former World Champion Art Carbonell did not stay around long today, I will film him though.
