For the best performance out of your IB cells this is what we recommend:
To help maintain consistence through out the batteries life keep a small amount of charge in the pack. Do this by discharging the battery down to .9 per cell after a run. It doesn’t matter what method you use to discharge the battery, a tray type discharger or a GFX will work fine. After the pack has cooled and rested put 500 seconds of charge back into the pack.
For Max Voltage:
Dead shorting the battery will yield the maximum voltage, but at the sacrifice of runtime. We recommend that you dead short you pack for no longer than 24 hours prior to use (a longer period of time did not yield better results). As this will help obtain the maximum life expectancy of the pack and maintain consistency through each cycle… Dead shorting will decrease the batteries runtime on average by 40-50 seconds, just like GP cells. Once a battery has been dead shorted the runtime cannot be regained so make sure this is the route you want to follow… Charging for stock and 19 turn racing: 4Mv per cell at a 6 amp linear charge

So, can the same be said for the ib3600 cells? Cause I just bought some and wanted to know how to look after them. (after a race and in between as well). There is so much varying and conflicting information out there. At the moment, all I do is charge them at 6amps linear and after a race discharge them on my charger/discharger at 10 amps and then let them sit till the next time I need to use them (usually 1 week).

Hi Curtis,
may i know for the IB 3800 cell is that the size will bigger than or same with GP 3300? because for pro 4 they still havent updated the chassis and even 3700GP the size also cannot put on the kit. if the size are same with the 3300 GP i think i would buy and try the battery. thanks

From what we have on hand, new IB3600 has the same size as GP3300, while IB3800 has the same size as GP3700

New to brushed mod motors and would like to know speed difference between the following:
V2 7x1 timing 12 degrees
V2 9x1 timing 18 degrees
both will have same springs and brushes.
V2 7x1 timing 12 degrees
V2 9x1 timing 18 degrees
both will have same springs and brushes.

6 degree on every line.

6 deg on an Orion/Peak label......... DC labels are 12 deg for each major line on the label.
