For the best performance out of your IB cells this is what we recommend:

To help maintain consistence through out the batteries life keep a small amount of charge in the pack. Do this by discharging the battery down to .9 per cell after a run. It doesn’t matter what method you use to discharge the battery, a tray type discharger or a GFX will work fine. After the pack has cooled and rested put 500 seconds of charge back into the pack.

For Max Voltage:
Dead shorting the battery will yield the maximum voltage, but at the sacrifice of runtime. We recommend that you dead short you pack for no longer than 24 hours prior to use (a longer period of time did not yield better results). As this will help obtain the maximum life expectancy of the pack and maintain consistency through each cycle… Dead shorting will decrease the batteries runtime on average by 40-50 seconds, just like GP cells. Once a battery has been dead shorted the runtime cannot be regained so make sure this is the route you want to follow… Charging for stock and 19 turn racing: 4Mv per cell at a 6 amp linear charge

For Max runtime:
Store your IB batteries with 500 seconds of charge at all times. Prior to use discharge the battery in a tray down to .9v per cell…. Charge at 5amp linear with a 4-3Mv peak detect…. This will yield a pack with maximum runtime for modified racing…

At the moment, all I do is charge them at 6amps linear and after a race discharge them on my charger/discharger at 10 amps and then let them sit till the next time I need to use them (usually 1 week).

Should I be doing anything different? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
According to the distributor, IB has improved the new 3600 cells and with a new shrink. New IB3600 is based on IB3800 cells. So we use same charging/storage way as IB3800. We have found that the new IB3600 has similar runtime as GP3700 but has more punch than GP. The much improvement over the old 3600s are they don't drop much in performance during our 8 minutes race while the old IB3600 only good for 5-6 min. It is really good news to us.

Hi Curtis,
may i know for the IB 3800 cell is that the size will bigger than or same with GP 3300? because for pro 4 they still havent updated the chassis and even 3700GP the size also cannot put on the kit. if the size are same with the 3300 GP i think i would buy and try the battery. thanks

the 3800's and the 3700's are the same size... i.e. bigger in diameter than the 3300's...

Hi Guo, Tempest2000 is correct. The IB 3800 and GP 3700 are both larger in diameter than the GP 3300's.....

From what we have on hand, new IB3600 has the same size as GP3300, while IB3800 has the same size as GP3700

New to brushed mod motors and would like to know speed difference between the following:

V2 7x1 timing 12 degrees
V2 9x1 timing 18 degrees

both will have same springs and brushes.

The more notable differences between the two motors will be acceleration (RIP) and top end... The 7x1 being the faster of the two motors.

Our standard Ti modified series is being replaced by the newer Ti3 series. At the moment we've pulled down all the info on the Ti's as we're in the process of updating picture and product description for the Ti3... Our Ti3 series modified motors will be available for purchase on our E-Shop July 1st.
