I have a 12 L4 and want to remove the anodizing off the aluminum. Is this possible and what would I use?

Easy off oven cleaner, if you let the parts sit in a bath of it, with slowly get anodizing off as a home remedy.

Of coarse, you can send the parts to us, we strip them and throw some black or clear anodizing on them for you.

I removed the anodizing off my SV27 hardware by using oven cleaner. Spray it and let is sit for a while then scrub it with a scotchbrite pad. Some parts needed a few soakings before it was all removed. This will give it a dull look that you might not like so be sure to try a small part or small area before you go to far.

Make sure to buy the good stuff, not sure if the cheaper brands will work.
