Havent run since this past weekend, so I would say only what Casper and myself have posted in the past couple of days. But I'll be running all weekend so I will hopefully have some more.

Right on.

I got out yesterday with my 100% all new Ten-Te (I got a bug up my ass and built an all new one.)

I ended up with...

7,7,3

35/27.5 with 4 holes drilled to 1.10 in all shocks

ride height at 30 front and 28.5 rear

droop at 48 in the front and 47 in the rear

black springs up front and silver in the rear

stock anti squat

front camber is -1 rear is -1.75

toe was 0

I think i'm gonna go lighter in the front, maybe 32.5 or 30 and I might go back to the black spring in the rear. The rear gets out from under me every once in a while with the silver.

Ive used the tower pro mg946r from hobbypartz.com with good success. It's strong and decently fast. .15 and 200 oz and metal gears for 15$. Can't beat that.

Hitech released a new digital metal gear servo for 45$ that is awesome also.

We noticed by going to the lighter center diff oil that the rear end didnt seem to step out as much. It seems counter to all I know but it is what is working.

That is so strange. I'll give it a shot.

The one thing I noticed with the silver's in the rear is that when not hitting the trans on the landings, the truck will get uneasy and pitch usually 90*. With the black's, landing the same way, it wasn't nearly as bad but felt a bit "rough" around the track. I think I'm gonna go back to the black in the rear.

Yeah, its all about what works for you. That is the fun of setting up a car properly is that it can be different for everyone. But its good to share the info so that if others are experiencing the same thing, they have stuff they can try.

So these problems with diffs, outdrives and link ends, are these just on the converted 10's? or are these on the actual new car?

I've been an early adopter with Losi since the original JRX2. That car had worthless rear stub axles. Bent on every jump. They always do get it fixed, but I think I'm gonna stick with my Jammin until Losi get's the bugs worked out. Don't anyone think I'm saying these problems are specific to Losi. I think every manufacturer needs to put each new kit in the hands of some hack weekend racers before release. You guys know the ones. The guy who tries the huge double every lap because he made it once. Even though he crashes 8 times out of ten, he keeps trying. When he does crash, he goes end over end for twenty feet and slams into the wall. Put these cars in those guys hands for six or seven race days. Make sure there are lots of other cars on the track to slam into them. You know, just like the real world racing most of us live in.

You guys (all the manufacturers) cannot put these vehicles in the hands of a few pro drivers and have them racing in the pro class where (most) everyone drives decently and get any kind of real world durability testing in these cars.

That's my two cents after racing for a long, long time (started a few years before the very first jrx2 rolled out, so IIRC, that is coming up on thirty years.)
