In my experience, only my 'old' or 'abused' shorty's would puff and stay puffed, never returning to their 'normal shape'.. thus being the sign that its time to be disposed of and replaced...
That being said, I've had these LiPos in particular for over a year now running in both 2wd buggy and FWD and at the time of this writing they are 'back to normal size'.. (actually later that day as I was packing up to leave the track)
At the track I used my normal 'hot weather' approach and placed them on the fan after each run.. so im guessing the slightly higher than normal (or recommended) constant discharge rating (during the runs) in addition to the ambient temp is what made them puff... (and maybe my extreme gearing, which I will not post)
They look fine currently, and took my normal 'storage charge' after the fact...

We could always just do 10.5 and gear more appropriately.. I was definitely pushing the limit
Also limit the number of laps you do on a single charge. When i pulled my car each run, voltage was well below what i see normally. never quite hit the voltage cutoff. We are just pulling a significant amount of more amps on such a layout as compared to 'normal'..

Hi,Did anyone ever tried to run the roll center without antidive?as almost every setup sheet is with around ‘0.5mm’ of antidive,Thanks
#427
Antidive seems very usefull at FWD cars to put more load on front tires under braking/weight transfer.
I tried myself and always was faster and had more steering with antidive!

What is the approximate weight distribution without the 65g front bumper weight? I'm asking because I'm considering this car for FWD USGT which has no weight minimum.

Hey guys, this is a pretty simple question about steering. What servo saver do you find the best to get the most steering throw from your FWD AMX car? Or, are you all using a servo horn instead of a servo saver. I'm not getting any more than 23* / 15* and steering tight corners is pretty hard to get done.
Thanks!
Thanks!
