What about ID in sleeve (on top)? Is it 13.76 mm or something different?

That's strange, because even Nitrohouse has it listed as "X12NS3"

Oh well.....

Tough to say I have not tried the motor yet. From what I am hearing the motor is faster than NS12. We'll have to wait and see.

So what did you run this past weekend? Also what engine was Nick running?

I ran a 6 gallon old NS12. I got home and took it apart and it seems ok, I just had way too much head clearance. Two thick silver shims. Oh well, that won't happen again. Not sure what motors Nick was running. I think Sirio's and Picco's, which I am getting as far away from as I can.

Hi there Uriah, you got me thinking there with your last statement....., would it be because of the conrod issue on the Sirio's????? or is it because it is a trinity distributed product.

Hopefully both.

Also, the Picco's require some skillz to tune them

Nick's Picco at the Winternats was ballistic though.

Yes we know that, but, by what Grinder has found physically measuring one, it could be a missprint. It would appear that the X12 would be more similar to a Novarossi RRL3 which has a 14.25mm stroke and a 13,7mm bore, which is something that needs confirmation.}

Well I just hope it's only a USA problem with distribution and not a permanent problem with conrod issues, because it is a very good engine performance wise. We can allways buy elsewere, as it happens with Novarossi's.

The price for Sirio's just went up by about $50.00, with no improvements in the engine. With the con rod issue in the Sirio's and Picco's it's just not worth taking a chance of them breaking during the middle of a race. I will still mod the engines upon special request because they are very fast one race engines, but I will not sell a lot of them.

Where can I see a detailed pic of the engine and also a parts list for all the engine parts?

Very fast one race engines? I was actually tending to lean more on the Sirio seeing that it's a fast engine and that spare parts and the engine itself are slightly cheaper...
