I just finished building my GT-e 3.0. I see many of you have changed the battery tray to the carbon fiber battery plates. Where do you buy them? What other after market hop ups are there?

I'm sure there are others out there, but the radio tray is a worthwhile upgrade as well. As far as other upgrades, heavy front and center diff fluids and RC Shox Flo Control pistons is all I have on mine that's not stock.

Cool thanks!
btw, any of you use 139mm x 47mm x 37mm size 3S batteries? Will require some mod as it is taller then the regular ones. Wonder if it is worth it.

What KV motor do you run? And what is your goal? Racing or all out speed runs?

1900kV is the best choice. Good cooling required!

Have a look at eGT8 and eGT8-Racing on Facbook.
You´ll find a lot of usefull Information.

I ran the taller 3 Cell packs in my car for 2yrs. Found some body post extenders to make it work. Worked great. I think I ran a 1700KV motor with the 6 cell set up.

Hello from France,

you can use all the parts from the nitro (excepts some transmission parts!!!).
The rear raising plate will hit the bottom of the plastic battery box.
Just have to shave a little materiel with a hobby knife.

Au revoir,

Romuald
