Does it make a difference to the cars handling?

Hi All,

After testing several styles of servo mounts I've gone to production with the style shown here. It is a triangulated mount at the center of the chassis and holds the servo in place very securely. I tried a 2 point mount similar to the Xray and BD7 and found that the servo could flex to easily at the chassis center- on high grip tracks the 2 point servo mount always felt a step behind radio input because the servo flexed on the chassis centerline. This triangular mounting is much more solid but still allows the chassis to flex independently from the servo.

I expect to begin shipments of the steering set with servo mounts early Nov. Sorry for the delay but I wanted to make sure to get the perfect design in place.

Thanks!

Prototype parts are shown;

Great solution.
Is it possible to use it only with exotek chassis or also with standard ae chassis?

Thanks.

These will get the full AE blue treatment with some laser etches to boot.

Works with the Exotek chassis of course, stock chassis does not have drilled holes for this.

Thanks All

What is the price point going to be? Will the steering rack be separate pricing and the servo mount or will they be a package deal??

He didn't have it in stock yet, Jeff's always fair along with exotek prices so I'm not worried about that.
