What parts should I stock up on for a race weekend/in general? What is everyone replacing with option parts?

I haven't broken anything......yet. A must have/replace item is the shock towers. The oem towers are stamped metal and bend easy. Most seem to replace them with the Losi CF towers (I did).

Check out the very first page in this thread. It's loaded with most all of the info a new owner will want to know.

A second wife would probably be cheaper in the long run.

Those of you who have done the ofna diff gear swap:

does it eliminate the shims and spacers the stock internals use? is it just two pins and four gears?

and does the bare pin seem to ware the diff case prematurely?

any info would be appreciated...thanks

I know the Pro 4 motor is prob going to be the way to go but what do you guys think of the 1410 vs 1415 Castle motors?

1410 is much better for racing, 1415 is a better basher. 1410 is great all around and will be mutch better on the track, many on here have tried running the 1415 without much luck at least for racing. If your track allows 3s lipo 1415 could work. 1410 is pretty much the king as of now.

I never liked the front brace on the SCTe or Ten T. So I killed it and added the same tie rod idea I used in the rear.

U don't need the blocks but u need to buy diff shims. Been running mine for 6 months. No issues. No wear on casing. And so much easier to clean and rebuild diffs.

Do the new shock caps come with bleeder holes?

LOSB2846 is this the right part number for shock caps with bleed holes?
