Actually, I added it up and it comes up to $41.50.

Not to mention what a pain in the arse it is to glue them damn things.

JACO prism rims - $9.00
Team Sorex foam insert - $4.75
Team Sorex tire - $11.50

How did the 41.50 come about? I must have missed something. Unless I am assuming that tire and foam packages come in twos instead of fours.

Edit: Nevermind. I was thinking the tires and foams come in 4s. They come in 2s. Evilgrafx is right.

Yes...looks like more $$ to me. The inserts and tires are sold in 2 per pack.

Please pay attention to this part, I know it's hard to follow.

You must purchase two sets of foam inserts and two sets of tires.

11.50 + 11.50 + 4.75 + 4.75 + 9.00 = $41.50

Yeah it is hard to follow why they sell foams and tires in 2s instead of 4s. Yet rims are sold in 4s.

Thank you Billy
When will backorders to hobby shops be filled? My hobby shop seems to have been waiting weeks for these.

And their such a pain to glue!

Years ago, I used to glue my own and had the same problem then.

It's kinda like the hotdog and hotdog bun thing where one had eight and one had ten and you were standing in the store wishing you did better in math because you couldn't figure out the lowest common denominator of the two and how man bags of each you'd have to buy to get it even.

SJR's do not use Sorex inserts. They use a insert similar to a Hara ver 2 Medium. It has been mentioned many times eariler in this thread.

So I guess that link I provided to the page needs to be updated for correctness?

What about it needs to be "updated for correctness"? It dosen't say there the inserts used in the SJR's.

The SJR website is for selling the SJR premounts and all of the Sorex products.

Hello everyone, the web-site is back up, it was down for the weekend and some prices had been changed. In the next few weeks will be offering a bulk package of 10 bags of tire or 10 sets of inserts, or 10 sets of wheels to make it a little cheaper buying bulk.

The reason is my prices are a little higher than most I have to respect and protect my dealers that buy from me. If I sell cheaper than them then the hobby shops will not carry the product and in return I hope your local shop will give you a better deal than me.

The inserts come in pairs and the tires come in pairs and the wheels come in a 4pk set.

And if there is a hobby shop waiting for tire then they must call or give me there name and I will call them. I have currently no one waiting for tires on a back order. I have everything in stock and colors

Thanks Billy

www.sj-rracing.com

it's about $28.00 to mount up your own.
Thanks Billy

Billy, After all the hand me downs from fellow racers has run out, I am finally in the market for some good tires. I have read the forum front to back. With so much info, I am now lost. Can you please give me a suggestion of tire, insert, and wheel for Low/ Med traction asphalt racing. Small track. Here in San Diego. Weathers usually 70 in winter.
