I'm not sure if it is the same as nitro rules but in nitro if you attended the nationals and placed well enough you will receive a letter inviting you to the worlds.
I only know this because a friend of mine showed me a letter from the end of 2011 inviting him to Thailand for the 2012 worlds.
He placed well in the nationals that was held in Chaplin Connecticut, if I'm not mistaking. But I did see the letter with my own eyes

Paving went perfect we are awaiting the curing process to be completed
Track layout to begin in July
As for 1/12th I would start praticing on asphalt there is a slight hope of chance for indoors as we are still working with a couple of manufacturers & facility the cost is not making it an easy task

I would expect it to be the last 4 days of the even as usual, so like the 7th-12th. The dates I posted above were what were posted as the event dates a few weeks ago. The Stage 1 report had different dates, but I think the ones I posted are the final dates.
