Hey Guys, just to clarify..

The mini Mazda 6 will be run in a separate class from the mini 4wd/Abc class. Only the ABC, HPI, and Tamiya Miatas will be legal for Mini 4wd and the Mazda 6 will be the OPEN Mini 4wd class. Sorry for any confusion.

ALso, due to limited quantities for the handout Xpatterns, they will only be handed out to PRE Signups. If there is extra, the day of the race, then they will be distributed as well.

Let's get those entries in!!!

Im up in the air for that one...to be safe, lets keep that in open class for now. Sign ups will tell if we will run them together or not.

There is an open class?
I agree charlie, I think 99% of the minis will be running the agreed upon Miata body/ black motor combo. I hope there are no open cars jumping into the ABC class party

Let's see, the original rules for Mini 4wd stated " Miata, ? - Any Manufacture". So, when did the Miata become the "agreed upon" body for the mini 4wd class ? And when did the Miata Club replace the RX-7 club as one of the event organizers ? So, I have a 4wd mini that is legal for the 4wd mini class but I can not run it in the ABC Mini 4wd race because people suddenly are scared of an RX-7 body ? I already have an Active RX-7 body that will fit the Atomic mini. I also have an HPI and Tamiya Miata body but they will not fit the Active chassis. So am I going to rush out to buy an ABC Miata body just for this race ? ...........No. I will just bring my pretty RX-7 and display it and not run. And if I am not racing my teammate is probably not going to either so that will be two less enteries. Have fun guys.

Doesn't have to be an issue, but if that is your choice, so be it. I already talk to Alan and it was clarified, but if you felt you don't want to race after i talk to him, then the show will move on. Enjoy the view!

Mazdacup Update:
After speaking with both Alan(Atomic) and Patrick(ABC) we alla greed that the RX7 body will be legal for the Mazdacup. They will be running the Expert Class. Remember, this is NOT an ABC series race nor is it a regular club race. This is a MAZDA race and limiting the body style to just the Miata would not be fair nor exciting. So, with that Being said, the RX7 body IS legal for the Expert Mini 4wd class.

Thanx
