Default MUGEN MRX4 LOLA SHELL PROBLEM

hi im having problems with my lola shell i had the same problem on my kyosho evolva in which only 1 shell fitted (collari r15) the front end is fine but the rear of the shell is quite high off the floor i have no idea why, the holes are mounted perfected there is nuffin obstructing the shell to sit lower and i cant adjust the rear floating body mount any lower...isit the shell? i havent tried the protoform p909 would that be any better ???????????????????

With the shortest H-arms of the bodymount the entire cooling head of the engine should stick out above the body

yeah i did tried to adjust the rear floating mount to the inner whole but it made hardly any difference and lookin at the car with shell on i cant think what else to adjust on the rear to bring the rear body mounts lower :S

Why do you want it lower? The higher it is, the better it works.

If you just have to get it lower, make sure you have the short H arms on it.

because at the moment the rear of the bodyshell is over a cm high off the ground i changed it to a shorter H arm that did make a difference but the rear of the lola shell is still quite high off the ground compared to over cars i see at my track and in pictures even when stationary so its not just the downforce pushing the shell down

just spoke to someone at kamikaze he said its the shell i was using (protofrom t530) which sit high so im gonna swith to something more recent

That is an obsolete body but should still fit just fine. My avatar is actually a Lola 530 on an MRX-4

Next time dont cut the lower skirt too early. ( I usually leave few mm on the lower section ).

Cut ( and trim ) the lower skirt after you mount the body.
