i hope so,not my fault,what would cause it to overheat,running a 15t pinion,stock spur gear,reedy 14.8v lipo 4s 5000mah 40c,any ideas guys.....

I don't think it a heat issue maybe something got shorted out. I run 2200kv gear at 17t and no problem.

if it has overheated or shorted do you think castle will replace it under warranty?i only got it 23rd december.also this was only my second run.first run was only for about 5 minutes,2nd run problem happened after about 15 minutes.

I think so do you still have your receipt? Don't they have a year warranty?

i didnt get a receipt but i know the owner of the modelshop well so i will be calling in tommorrow,also just looked on castle website and they give a 1 year warranty,thankfully.9e was flying as well,handling was excellent,cant wait to get it going again,only thing i will be worried in case it does it again.

just thinking,you guys with mamba moster setups in your 9e,do you have any holes cut in the front of the shell for air intake to cool the motor and esc down?.

Guys, I will leave here a picture of how it turned out my latest amendment to h9e, with this modification the car under his weight and increase rigidity.
I few weeks ago that I am using it and gave me very good result if you can give me any suggestions are welcome
I removed the battery box in order to place the battery in another place and it is so well balanced the car less than 15 grams of difference between wheels

No need & I run in the tropics where humidity is near 100% & temperature can reach 34 deg C. Please refer to my sig. for details. 14T pinion.
