BAll Diff Cover
Hi All,
Just like to introduce our ball diff cover for the TOP Scythe, we believe it does a decent job at shielding out any dust.

What drive shafts are people running in their scythe's, i seem to be having issues with the standard items.

TOP have released some alloy dogbones which fit the same axle as the standard driveshafts, these are TOP's own part not something from HPI.

The problem is not really the dog bone itself but the pin's in the axles breaking or coming out. I was hoping to find someone using MIP's and go down that route?
Cheers

The pin setup is just the same as the Yokomo setup, I have done plenty of running with Yoke's over the years as well as a little running with the Scythe and can't say I ever had issues with the joints.
Are you using threadlock to hold the grub screw in place? Without it they will work loose and cause problems.
Or are you running the spool - as I'm sure you know spools are super-heavy on front drivetrain parts, especially if you make any excursions off the racing line. The new TOP option spools come with blades which may take some of the stress off the axles if that is so.

Hi guys,
I am willing to sell my red Scythe, all the parts, AND my older gold car for £300. Let me know if you need anymore info.

Congrats on the A-main placing EJ .
Great to see the Scythe mixing it up with the big boys
Ill be running a second Scythe shortly in Mod with brushless.
Im really enjoying the Scythe in superstock (27t)
it just works so well for me.
Im surprised how well its working for me with hard foam wheels.Im running 42 shore 26mm fronts and 40shore 30mm rears.
getting to grips with electric after being out of it for a long time.
So great way to get back in with a new car to the scene
