No LHS can get Spada parts in the US. I was working with Ivan at Rainbow... but that connection seems to have dried up.

I am running full sized servos and it works just fine. A JR Z590 works the throttle and brake and a JR DZ 8450 is handling the steering. I would be a little concerned with smaller servos. This is bigger and heavier than a 1/12th scale electric pan car and that may overstress a smaller servo. From the manual:

" If using mini-servos with the SPADA 09, the greater vibration of the GP cars can shorten the life of servos, Particularly the throttle servo. Please be aware."

So.... Please be aware...

What's nice about this car is that it doesn't require any setups. People make mods to the car to suit thier needs but there isn't much to adjust in the suspension.

The main thing is what level of grip your track has, if its sugarwatered and reletively smooth your will have no problem, if you race on a small un-treated track that is bumpy like me then front spool and softer rear springs. For tyre additive I use Jack the gripper, full soak on the rear and half on the fronts.

Nice looking car adamkerrnz

This week I had a small problem with the rear swing arm, I was using all the track through a fast right hander and glanced the plastic barrier than runs along the edge...this knocked the swing arm through its housing and the spring popped out...I have since done a simple mod to re-inforce the swing arm see pic.

I had a similar problem in Vegas, but, I think that the bearing blew and that put stress on the belt side pivot. The flange is quite vunerable and that looks like a good fix

e-mailed http://www.rc-mushroom.com/ the other day about stocking Kyosho spares for the Spada, they replyed saying they have just started to stock spares, and they are up on their front page.
I have asked if they will extend to the optional kyosho parts too...like the tuned pipe
I should get confirmation in a couple of days, I will keep every one posted
