Awesome job to Steven for putting it in the stock TC show with that trainwreck of a box of parts that I gave him! Just imagine if he actually drove it before that Friday?

She started life as an original kit over 2 years ago and has some good mojo for sure.

That shirt seems to suit him well!

Thinking of trying my car with out the FFG(back to normal front mount). Will still be using the aluminum chassis, so do I still need to run the AM-33-5? Will be using the top deck.

You wanna do run the am30/33 brace. Top deck appears more optional.

At04-2 works with stock pieces, sd1 or sd2

Sd2 replaced sd1

The at12m apart of sd1, is a great hop up for either stock parts (at20) or sd2. I have it on all of my cars to prevent failure....

Anyone know what the part number is for the special grub screw used in the GD2? This is the one with the end that seals inside the outdrive shaft. I've managed to lose two of them refilling diffs.

Edit: Never mind, found it. In case anyone is looking it is SS3X4-1 M3x4 DIN915 Screw x 2

Thanks Mike!

It's really just evidence of how well this car works in stock. I pieced it together, guessed at a setup, made a few tweaks over the weekend and by Sunday I had a race car. Hands down the best TC I've driven on rubber tires. Now I'm just looking forward to indoor champs 😁.

Thank you Hanulec! I'm guessing the at12m is a straight upgrade for the at20 - just for the size of the pins for the spur?

The Awesomatix Thread, where Alphabet Soup makes sense.

You guys are starting to go just as insane as oval racers.

In the description the SD2 is said to "give the feel of a belt". Does this mean when coming on power out of the corner you get a little more initial pull on the front spool and the car is a little less inclined to step out with the rear wheels if your on the power a little fast?

The gaps to either collar from the center FFG support is not at play with the top deck

Should feel more like a belt car.
Truth be told... I'm a bit skeptical on this myself.

So ive tried a few different setups for my mod evo and nothing seems to hook up at all, everything just has little to no rear traction and stability. Any suggestions and a setup thats just easy to drive and can be tweaked for aggressiveness from there?
