ON/OFF
The kit comes with a bracket to mount the switch above the steering servo. Alot of guys dont believe in switches, and I know alot of guys that use some sort of switch. Download the manual and parts list from the Mugen website, and order the parts tree that comes with the bracket, and you can find the switch at any Hobby Shop. Its the standard switch that is used on most cars. The bracket holds the switch and the transponder mount. I use it and have had no problems, and this is my second season with the same switch.

I've run Ninjas since they came out. No problems. I can keep up with any engine out there. Use the Ninja pipe & medium conical for the best all-around performance. Their plugs are the same $ as other high quality plugs.
It's also the perfect match with the MRX4R. That's not just because Mugen sells it, but because all the R&D is done with it in the R.

Plugs are Expensive
I love the Ninja engine, and have had no problems. However, i must admit the plugs are expensive. I work at a hobby shop, and can definitely say that plug prices have gone up from average of 5-6 dollars to 7-8 dollars per plug. The Ninja plugs sells for 10 bucks. Thats way more than the others. The motor is priced competitively, but the plugs are not even close. Sorry Steve...I love Mugen, and my Ninja, but honestly speaking, the plugs could be a little cheaper. I could understand if you had an option to use another plug, but you have to use their plugs. The quality is top-notch, but 10 bucks......... I buy novarossi and RB plugs in quantities, but the Ninja plugs, I have 3, and will only buy as needed.

Paul, I ran Novarossi C7 TGF gold tip & C8TC (both $9/ea at LHSs) in my JP before I went to the Ninja. And I went through them like water, maybe 5 or 6 per race day. Plus they were more prone to getting sucked in, not good for the internals. $10 now for a Ninja and I use one for heats...maybe a new one for the main. Ninjas lasted longer for me which make them cheaper in the long run. I feel ya Paul, but like they say "you get what you pay for."
The R01A has a new rod and bearings (both).
