I forgot you are in the VRI at Western. When I was up there we had huge (like 5' x 10') sheets of 1/2" thick carbon fiber honeycomb plate. Viking 23's chassis was made out of it. Boeing donated a ton of material that they normally used for flooring in jets. Good luck.

Yea, I see it around. It's being used usually. I don't think Boeing helps us out anymore really. Janeki and Hexcell donate/give us a good deal on composite related stuff. It's amazing how many people I know in RC that went to the VRI, wanted to go or just heard of it. It's a pretty sweet program and I'm glad I'm in it.

That is a sharp looking board. How thick is the CF & acrylic? And what are you using for nuts on the back of the CF?

Clint one thing for sure, the only side to be on is yours.
Readers the material is left over scrap from the construction of clean rooms normaly thrown in the can. Very expensive but garbage in smaller peices.
